For sale here is a car set of NEW gearbox limit bracket, which fits around your gearbox mount to stop it over deflecting and shearing - necessary if you are cornering hard with your TR, or just interested in preserving the life of the gearbox mount which tends to shear fairly rapidly.

The gearbox mount is not included.

As used on my rally TR4 BST82B and precision manufactured in the UK from quality stainless steel, laser cut and jig bent so that it properly fits around the gearbox mount and allows only limited movement of the gearbox (you can’t make this mount sold because the aluminium tail case will crack … ask me how I know.

You fit this with the curved edge toward the overdrive casing so that it doesn’t foul the aluminium case and stops the mount pulling apart completely, even if it fails - in which case the assembly will still stay together and get you home.
