A few weeks ago my car just came to a halt. I have taken it to Mazda and they have told me that the oil pump chain has broken. I'm not sure what has happened as it has been looked after. It was serviced a few months ago. I've had a few things replaced on it. The turbo was replaced in November 2023. The vacuum pump was replaced September 2023. I have lots of invoices for work done to this car.
Unfortunately, I just can't afford to get it fixed this time.
The car starts and runs, for now. The engine is being starved of oil so it won't be like this for long. It hasn't seized though. I've only started it a few times since it happened so I'm hoping it fixable. Please see the video.

This might be an easy oil pump chain fix. Or it might be an engine replacement needed. This could be a bargain for someone that knows about these problems and how to fix them. Or a spares car for someone with a project.
The car is the higher spec'd version and comes with leather seats and sat nav. The seats are heated and have electronic drivers adjusting seats. It has a heads up display and adaptive headlights that move in time to the steering.
