Traditional Indian Rajasthani marionette/puppets. Bought in India in the 1980s from a small family workshop.

A young couple - man playing an instrument. Simple strings enable the man to dance and the lady to waive her arms (lady has a full skirt - no legs).

Traditional Handmade Carved wood face, fabric stuffed limbs. Clothed in recycled silk sari fabric.

Kept in a glass display cabinet for years then put in the ottoman for too long - time to go to someone who will appreciate the artisan craftsmanship and hopefully to make a small child smile! Condition is very good - no fading to teh fabric or any other faults - but they are not new and are artisan crafted so will have an odd 'fault' - or 'character'!
