Offering: This very nice vintage woven handbag or purse.   The inside tag reads, "Handmade in the Crown Colony of Hongkong".  The color of the fibers are mostly beige, with brown interspersed in the front to vary the look.  **I believe the handle is plastic and that the weaving is also a plastic weave.  Not 100% sure.  There is also real caning or bamboo weaving on both the top and bottom.  

**I could be wrong and the top section and handle could be bakelite, but this model, while vintage, looks to be to me a later version.   Either way this is a very nice top handle carry bag - especially good for Spring and Summer.   

Condition: Very good condition.  All weaving is perfect with no rips, breaks, repairs, etc.  The clasp works as it should.  It would be rated Fine except for a repair to the plastic top, at the corner.  It is barely visible except on close inspection(pictures 9 & 10).  The condition of the inside is rough, with some separation of the vinyl material at the top.  

If you are looking for a casual bag, at a good price, this is it.
