Antique Bronzed Bookends Pair THE PROPHETS Sargent Bagshaw Greenblatt 1923

Description:
For your consideration is this pair of bronzed metal bookends depicting The Prophets were produced by AM Greenblatt Foundry/Studios as modeled by Frederick Bagshaw after the painting by John Singer Sargent. Well cast pair. Vintage wear to patina as seen in the pictures, particularly around edges. Figures of Elijah, Moses, Joshua along with 10 Commandments. Each measures 5 1/4"W X 6 1/4"H X 2 1/8"D as seen in the eighth picture. Combined weight is 6lbs. 9oz. Felt bottoms. Please view pictures as the accurately represent the beauty and condition of the bookends (although the bookend on the right-in-the-first-picture came out a bit dark - maybe from casting a shadow).
