Vintage 1985 Yamaha VMAX 1200cc.  1st model year.  In excellent condition.  23,634 miles as of this listing (maybe slightly more at actual sale date - this bike is fun to ride).  Motor / mufflers are factory stock.  Has factory seat re-installed (corbin seat removed). Seat does have a minor blemish near the right front adjacent to airfilter cover.  Tires were installed in 2014, but have less than 1,000 miles and always stored inside - no weathering.  The only blemish on this bike is on the right rear muffler leading edge.  I have photographed the minor scratch for your viewing.  The previous owner gave me a replacement factory muffler set, but I never installed it.  I will include it in this sale.  I have all service records back to 2001.  This is a California bike, originally purchased in Harbor City.  I am the third owner and have owned it since 2009.  If this will be your first VMAX, do some research on these bikes.  This bike is not for a novice rider.  It's very powerful (145 HP).  It has a feature called V-Boost. When accelerating, and rpm's reach 6000, all four carbs open wide up - and is quite scary for a novice rider.  I am in my 60's now and I don't need that temptation anymore.  I am selling this cream puff motorcycle for the next advanced rider to enjoy and care for.
