DESCRIPTION

This is a listing for a Vintage FOSTORIA GLASS CO. #6027 ENVOY glass and an Art Department archive item.  This is a Juice Glass with an original factory tracing of the #824 PRINCESS Cutting.  On the paper it has "6027 5 oz Tumb Ct 824 6 parts 2 Rows 24 punnies >12 in each row 24 mitre leaves > 12 in each row 2 Rows Rope 28 sections".  In addition, the rim and foot are noted, as seen.  The pattern has not been polished.  This pattern started production in 1950 until 1951.  These were retrieved from the factory after it closed.  The tracing was made by the design department, and the glass in the Fostoria Glass Company in Moundsville, West Virginia, USA.

The glass measures approximately 4" high by 2 1/4" in diameter and the tracing approximately 8 1/2" x 11".

These weigh under 1 pound and will weigh 1 - 2 pounds when properly packed for shipping.  Shipping costs are determined by the weight, size of the box and distance to the buyer.

The glass is in nice vintage condition.  The paper shows signs of age and handling, as seen.  It is not unusual for Example & Sample items, from the glass morgue to have permanent writing, be unfinished, have flaws or damage as they were created for reference and not to be sold.
