This car clock is from an estate.  It was made by the Boston Clock Company.  I did some research and found they were only in business from 1884 - 1894.  The dial also has the names Black, Starr & Frost, New York.  I wound it and it ran for over seven days.  I am guessing that if I had wound it a bit more it would have run the full eight days.  It did gain some time and will need adjustment.   It is in very good condition.  It is 3 3/8" in diameter at the front bezel, 3 1/8" in diameter at the bottom of the can.  The case is 2" deep and the whole clock is 3" deep including the bracket.  Please see the photos as they are part of the description.  I found an advertisement for this clock and have included it with the other pictures.  While the ad is not part of the auction, it helps identify the clock.
