Pair of Gold finished oval frames.  Deep and fat oval frames are old, made of wood with gold paint.  The two portraits in the frames are also old. They look sephia brown and cream which I would bet is due to age.  I think the pictures are also hand colored...at least the burgundy dress on one and the peach scarf of the other.  The backs look like fresh cardboard.  They are in good shape for their age some scratches and discoloring from aging but still beautiful.

The opening on the back is about 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 and the overall frame 11 3/8 x 13 1/4
