Up for sale is a nice little Sewer Tile or Sewer Pipe folk art boot. Often called End of Day Pieces, workers at sewer tile  factories would make little pieces of folk art pottery. These boot could be used to store matches. Found in Ohio. Likely Ohio Origin. 

Dates to around the 1920s or 30s. Heavy thick black glaze over the pottery. Made in a mold. 

About 4 inches tall and 4 inches from front to back. See water bottle for scale.

Nice condition. No repairs. No cracks. One glaze flake off of the bottom (near the front edge). Another flake off of the heal of the boot. Some white junk stuck to the bottom. See photos and video.
