Cowboy boots, or any boots with cuban heels are back in fashion this year! So says Harriet Walker, writing in The Times on 3rd January 2024! She recommends pairing them with wide straight leg style jeans....  "that break nicely over the toe of a low-heeled boot" and then goes on to write "that cowboy boots are the perfect foil to all those long-legged jeans" - which we'll all be wearing throughout 2024!

This is an auction for a pair of authentic Old Gringo United Short women's Cowboy Boots in an Americana Stars 'n Stripes design.

These are a US Size 10 in a B width. I am a UK size 7.5 but take a UK 8 in boots and these fit perfectly lengthwise.

I purchased these in Santa Fé, New Mexico in January 2019 - or rather my husband did as a gift for me when we were on holiday in the USA.

I absolutely love these boots but have hardly worn them because they are just that bit too narrow for my feet (I have one foot wider than the other due to breaking it many years ago). I have worn them once outside for a couple of hours and the remaining 2-3 times inside the house. The boots have always been worn with clean socks.

I've reluctantly decided to part with them due to the width issue.

They are otherwise in superb condition, having been stored in a drawer for the last 4 years. The leather is soft and there are no cracks. tears, scratches etc.

These are extremely well hand-made pair of women's South-Western cowboy boots, made in Mexico. They are made of leather inside and out and can be worn barefoot inside if that is your preference. The black leather is distressed which adds to the overall Americana vibe. There is a side zipper and they are very easy to get on and off. The boots have a weight to them, but do not feel heavy when worn. The quality is such that these will last you many years.

The outer sole is made of leather as well.

The same style pair (but has a burgundy panel instead of black) is available on the Old Gringo website for USD 418. This is roughly what I paid for these boots as well (plus New Mexico state sales tax of around 8%). This equates to around £350.

The original box packaging was discarded but they will be sent carefully packaged in a box.

I am open to reasonable offers.
