This pack is designed for larger 40v tools such as impact guns and lawnmowers, but can also be used with smaller 20v tools giving twice the capacity and runtime (but also twice the weight). Works with standard ActivEnergy charger, charge time 95 minutes.

Note: Some Ferrex branded tools use their own battery system, this is for ActiveEnergy 20v/40v tools only. 

For optimum battery lifespan:

-Allow pack to cool after charging before use, and vice-versa. 

-Store at around half charge for long periods of time e.g. over the winter. 

-Stop using the pack when tool performance begins to drop significantly, before the tool cuts out.

Important: Although Lithium Ion cells are safer than flat Lithium Polymer cells, it is still recommended to charge and store in a fire safe location, and not to leave charging unattended. In particular, do not charge in flammable areas such as wooden sheds and do not store in places prone to high temperatures such as sheds and garages.
