"114ce-S" has a Sitka spruce veneer top and Sapele sides and back. The Sapele used on the sides and back is clear and bright, yet features a mild midrange that gives you a gentle feel. The plump, clear tone that takes advantage of the GA-sized body is compatible with a wide range of playing styles, from stroke to fingerstyle.
The pickup is equipped with Taylor's proprietary expression system pickup "ES2", which allows you to realistically output a clear and balanced Taylor sound without losing the nuances of the guitar's original sound.
