The books cover is brown cloth boards with black title writing and gold gilt writing and Needle illustration. Other than some very light rubbing to the corners and spine edge, the cover is in good condition. The hinges, inner boards and endpapers are in good order. With pull out plate of Cleopatra Needle to the front.. The plate has one some nick but is otherwise in good condition. The book is nicely illustrated throughout ( see pictures). There are 128 pages. The pages are all in good clean condition throughout the book. The binding is tight and square.
