Obverse: Garlanded, draped, and armored bust right, wearing Collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, perimeter legend; Reverse: Charles, holding scepter and orb, seated facing on throne; seated to left and right, Saints Isidore and Leander, each holding crozier; perimeter legend above, NO8DO (motto of Seville: "Seville has not left me") in exergue, date below. The city of Seville sent gold examples of this medal to the royal family and distributed silver examples among court notables. Warm gray toning with champagne highlights on the reverse. The date on the reverse is partially off-flan.
