Canvasback Drake, hand carved and painted, glass eyes, hollow construction with a rattle on the inside, this carving does not appear to have been rigged or used, signed on the bottom “Gervaise A Neale Jr”, from Gaithersburg MD, comb paint with simple feather patterns, neck joint is tight, unable to detect any seam separations, measures 16” inches long from tip of bill to tail, 6” inches wide through the mid body section, stands 8” inches tall.
