Has a very stiff focus ring. Focus ring can be turned all the way but very stiff. On the picky side, when viewing with a strong light has very very light haze.

It was made by Taylor, Taylor Hobson of Stoughton Street Works, Leicester, which became part of the J Arthur Rank Organisation in 1947. This lens is quite rare and made by this highly respected manufacturer in the 1940s.
