Difficult to photograph, this dress is much more flattering when worn than on the hanger. The colour looks a bit brown in a couple of the photos, but it is in fact a lovely plum, neither too purple nor too brown. Truest depiction is in close up photo number 2 and last pic.

The fabric is a beautiful weight and it is not flimsy or sheer. Does not crease easily like most linen dresses. Top quality fabric. I've worn it on 40 degree days and on cooler days and it's been comfortable every time. 

The seam under the bust is actually between the bust and the waist so it's much more flattering. It's not really oversized but hangs nicely on a size 14. Side pockets!
