The Cut Resistant + FR (Fire Resistant) Light tubular neck warmer by Buff® is a technical version of the popular every-day Buff® multi-function headgear. A 51 cm long, knitted (seamless) tube of DuPont™ Nomex® and Dyneema® fabric designed for protection from Cutting Objects, Thermal Hazard, Heat & or Flames. Popular ways to wear are as scarf, face mask, sweatband, helmet liner or beanie. Resistant to Fire & Antistatic.
The Cut Resistant + FR Light Buff® Neck gaiter was designed at the request of the security forces to protect the neck area from eventual cuts and fire. It is made from two layers of Nomex® with fire resistant and antistatic properties, and a Dyneema® anti-cut woven layer in the lower middle part. Manufactured in a range of tactical colours making is ideal for Emergency Services, Law Enforcement and Military end users that have exposure to edged weapon threats and flash-over or fire risk.
Like regular Buff® wraps, the Cut Resistant + FR Light model can be worn in a number of configurations to expand the protected zone. The tubular construction and seamless Micro-fiber fabric make a comfortable and versatile piece of all-weather kit. Designed to be worn in all seasons, the Multi-function wrap can protect operators from the sun, flies, sand and airborne debris thrown up by rotor wash as well as heat and flame.

ANTI-STATIC: Certified product that incorporates protective fabric with electrostatic properties to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges that eventually can generate sparks. A spark is capable of causing a fire or explosion under certain circumstances.
Moisture Management: Fabric structure that transfers sweat and vapor away from the body through the fabric. Provides comfort and helps keeping body temperature stable.
Stretch Fabric: Bidirectional elastic fabric for excellent fit and comfort.

DYNEEMA® ANTI-CUT TECHNOLOGY:

Nomex® has flame-retardant properties, is resistant to high temperatures
and will not melt, drip, or combust in air. This high level of
protection is engineered into the fibre’s molecular structure, it’s not
chemical, which means the heat and flame resistance of NOMEX® is
inherent and permanent and will last the life of the garment. As well as
resisting extreme temperatures, thanks to its advanced
thermo-technology, garments made with NOMEX® offer optimum comfort and
durability.
