Submitted for your approval, this perfect summer carry-all from the 1950s. This vintage case is hand woven of palm straw, and adorned with bold raffia embroidery. There are three d-ring palm straw closure straps, and a band of the same design providing support around the entire bag. Lined with bright vintage cotton floral fabric for a pop of color. The trunk measures 16" round x 7"deep. These vintage island suitcases were usually made for tourists then sold at roadside attractions in the Bahamas or Florida with the local produce,sea shells and floppy hats.
