This is a real oem set of brackets. Its been pointed out to me that a guy in Germany is selling poorly made ripoff fake mounts.he used to put a sticker on them with the part number but now has a stamp to do jt. Looks decent except its a fake.

I sell repo mounts and have sold  over 550 kits . but i have never stamped bmw on them or claimed they were oem

Take a minute and read to save yourself some pain and money.

ive been installing z3 tops since the care were new.

ive included a photo showing a real.oem mount and the obvious things incorrect on the fakes. Plus the guy stamped a bmw number on them which is totally illegal

Compare the factory wekd on this bracket. See the notches for bending and alignment in the welding fixture.

Dont get ripped off

I have a couple sets of the mounts i make and this set that i dont care if i sell or not. I also have a excellent black top and keeping these for the buyer to choose mine or oem.

Notice also my sets have the proper factory header bolts which are tirx and have an oring to keep them in place.

If you want this set i have the covers wiring and defroster switch i can add. Or you coukd bjy the german set take it to bmw and have them confirm its fake , file with ebay and maybe wind up with it free. Then you could pay 50-100$ to have it welded properly. Hahaha just a thought.
