Dedicated TTL exposure for Olympus and Panasonic cameras, as well as regular auto and manual controls and FP multi-flash mode for high speed sync.

Flash head tilts and rotates for bounce flash work.

Works as commander and/or receiver flash with other Olympus flashes for off-camera flash. For example, the FL-LM3 flashes that come with many Olympus cameras now (and other Olympus flashes) will fire this flash remotely when the camera is set to RC flash. Similarly, the FL-36R can fire other Olympus flashes when mounted in the hotshoe and the camera set to RC flash mode. This should not be confused with the original FL-36 which did not feature remote flash triggering. Guide number is 36 m. At ISO100.
