Forbidden Planet is a 1956 science fiction movie directed by Fred Wilcox and starring Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and Leslie Nielsen. The story is about a spaceship crew that lands on a planet where a scientist and his daughter are the only survivors of a previous expedition. The planet is inhabited by a mysterious force that threatens their lives. The DVD edition was released in 2010 by Warner Home Video and features a G rating, widescreen format, and a run time of 98 minutes.
