Photograph Notes: At the August 2012 date of this view, Ludlow Royal British Legion was based here in Victory House, 8 Mill Street. In August 2013 the Shropshire Star reported that members had voted for closure. Rocketing maintenance costs and diminishing membership were the factors leading to the decision. The club opened in 1946. At its peak, membership was more than 1,000, which had dwindled to below 300 by 2013. Closure was planned for September 30th 2013.
