This sale is for the Scott Voltage FR710 frame, rear shock and headset only for £450 - the jackshaft setup in the photos is available for £150 extra.
Scott Voltage FR710 frame - In good condition, no dents or cracks. The paint has seen better days though. The RS Vivid air shock was serviced a year ago before I bought it and I've used it less than 10 times since. There are no modifications to the frame - the jackshaft can be removed with no issues.
- Large size - 445mm reach - more like a medium by current geometry.
- For 27.5" or 26" wheels width two rear axle positions.
- 12x135mm rear axle - replaceable dropouts can also be bought for QRx135 axles.
- 170 or 190mm rear travel using flip chip.
- Hope headset included for tapered steerers.
- 73mm BSA threaded BB shell.
- ISCG 05 mounts.
- Rockshox Vivid Air RC2 (241x76) rear shock.
- 31.6mm seat post.
- 34.9 seat clamp
The jackshaft - Just like on the Brooklyn Machine Works Race Link (and more recent copycat wannabes Tora EVH), this allows you to run the bike singlespeed, and also to isolate all pedalling forces from the suspension - chain growth, pedal kickback, lower unsprung weight, silent drive. If you would also like the crank and jackshaft setup for an extra £150, that will include the complete jackshaft setup that you can see on the frame, minus the last cog that will be on your rear hub:
- Race Face Aeffect cranks - 170mm
- 26t, 28t, 30t Race Face Cinch chainrings
- First Components EBB - eccentric bottom bracket (to tension primary chain).
- Jackshaft with cog carrier (modified Shimano HG freehub).
- Rear chain tensioner (not pictured).
- 14t cog and KMC SS primary chain.
- 16t cog and Izumi SS secondary chain
- To complete the jackshaft setup you will just need the single cog for your rear wheel (standard Shimano HG cogs).
- The gearing I used was 28x14x16x15t which is a 2.13 ratio equivalent to a standard 34x15. I can provide you with some other info for the gear ratios.
I always send frames with ParcelForce 48hr, and it will always be insured so nobody loses out if it's damaged or lost in transit.
Again - the £450 includes only the frame, rear shock and headset. If you would like to add the jackshaft for an extra £150, send me a message and I will add this to the price and leave it setup for you on the bike. If you 'buy it now' for £450 and do not ask for the jackshaft, it will be removed.
I also have the Sixth Element carbon 27.5" wheels with Hope Pro 4 hubs in the photo of the complete bike available, send me a message if you're interested in them
