Very unique demo VW T5 camper van conversion now available for sale. It’s got an extending pop-out double bed at the back which rolls back in, extendable roof, and then internal aluminium kitchen units and storage.

Pictures are when it was recently at Camper Mart and currently on the way back from the garge after the final items like electrics completed. Therefore, doesn’t include items like the furnishings, mat, signage, number plate etc.

In terms of the main van itself:
• It’s done just over 129k miles and 2010 model in great condition, a 1.9 litre manual gearbox. Been no major issues and repairs and only minor things like an ABS sensor and sliding door dead lock, drives well, has just been serviced with long 10 months MOT until March 2025. Have been to many events over the country in it and holidays in North Yorkshire and South Coast and Devon (8k miles in the last 2 years).
• Originally purchased from a dealer with some service history before (cambelt not due yet). A double service when bought ie their own full inspection/service plus one at a local reliable garage (and then later even a third VW specialist), and all services/repairs noted since.
• 18inch black alloys added all with new quality tyres (Kumho Ecsta PS71) with lots
of life left in them.
• Bodywork in very good condition (has been re-sprayed in the past)
• Only minor things are a damaged patch of paintwork which has a cover over so not seen, and mark on the rear barn door. We’re looking to resolve or can deduct something off the purchase price if people want to take and sort themselves.
Here’s the main points about the conversion side of the camper:
• Pop out double bed, very unique! Additional locks were placed on this particular one, carpet lined inside, storage ‘pouches’ on each side to hold items when in bed, storage room underneath, and memory foam mattress. Also de-mountable bed bases for handy boot storage inside through the rear barn doors when travelling.
• Unique minimalistic aluminium kitchen and side storage with roller shutters, additional shelves, carpet lining behind, and wardrobe hooks.
• Unique extended roof which easily hinges up, being simpler than the traditional pop tops (carpet lined inside).
• Insulation added to all sides and floor before final finishes
• SMEV hob and sink with drainage outside (with container to collect) and internal water container to hold water. Small gas bottle in sealed container with gas cert being completed in the next week.
• Electric fridge on 240 and 12v.
• Small portable toilet (unused)
• Various extra trims on the outside in matching black, e.g. side window wind deflector, rear doors top spoiler, bottom sidebars, and front bumper underskirt.
• Full van electrics with the 240v install which will be certified in the next week. 240v hook up, and 12v leisure battery – sockets inside and USB chargers. LED inside lights on either side, plus additional battery spots around the camper (can let you know about some great additional magnetic ones you can get as well)
• Swivel seats on both the driver and double passenger seats. Therefore a 3 seater, although room to install 2 more additional clip on seats in the rear if you wanted. Leatherette seat covers on both.
• Side windows on both sides, the one near the kitchen with a pane that opens. Blinds over and one that clips around the front cab windows when parked.
• Table that is nicely stored behind the sliding door.
• Internal finish with black lining carpet and grey floor, and front cab mats on all sides and sliding door steps.
In summary, a completely unique and high-quality finish camper conversion! Selling because of needing to do another conversion, and it is ideal to just drive away and use or add any further finishing touches.
