As required for shipping, the Gear Oil was drained and inspected. Fluids were found to be very clean, free of metal shavings, foam, water or any other contaminants. Buyer MUST replenish the Gear Oil prior to placing this unit back into service.
BUYER TIP: This is a "BIG DADDY" TRUE OMC KING COBRA MODEL. CAUTION: We noticed other eBay Sellers stating their Upper Units are "Kings"...but some are not! Some of theses Sellers have actually copy and pasted our Items Specifics and Description...even our customer service phone number!!! Many are simply Standard V8 and others are “Baby Kings" Models...Maybe they think just because they have a V8 it is a King. . . but they are not the same size or design as the OMC King Cobra Models! Some are calling their's a unit or assembly, but there are no gears just an empty housing. So, we strongly suggest that as you shop you be certain and compare what you think are "similar" Uppers. The Engine Tag will read "KING". Also please note that this True King unit will not fit OMC Cobra Standard or Baby King Engines.
