This auction is offering a Wonderful RARE Antique Lobmeyr hand applied enamel with gold trim glass cup and saucer. Circa 1900. Signed in the center of cup & saucer the Lobmeyr Hallmark. The glass is a beautiful pink color. There is very light gold trim loss due to age. There are no cracks, chips or hairlines. Cup measures approx. 2" tall & 3 1/2" wide, includes handle. Saucer measures 5-1/4" diameter.

Lobmeyr Glass was founded in 1823 by Joseph Lobmeyr Sr. (1792-1855) as a high class retail store in Vienna specializing in art glass. Lobmeyr sold glass that he had designed and commissioned from various glassworks, some of which he owned at various stages.
