Juvenile T-Rex Tooth


This small and stocky tooth comes from the most famous of all theropods, Tyrannosaurus Rex.  Tyrannosaurus Rex "The King Tyrant Lizard", was among the largest and most powerful terrestrial carnivores of all time.  Adult Tyrannosaurus Rex grew to a length of 46 feet and was around 18 feet in height.  

This nice T-Rex tooth was found in one piece needing no restoration.  The tooth has light river wear.  The small T-Rex tooth has great detail and preservation with a black coloration.  This is all around a great example of a juvenile T-Rex tooth with nice enamel and serrations.


The Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth measures:  7/16" of an inch wide by 13/16" of an inch in length.


This T-Rex tooth was dug out of a microsite in the Hell Creek Formation of Carter County, Montana.  The tooth was collected on private ranch land with the owner's permission.
