This does have some of that typical fading in the acetate where it looks like it has some burgundy undertones. The closrups do not depict actual color. Please see top of cups where boning can be seen. I m not sure if its made that way or if it is pushed out. You can pull both metal pieces all the way out and slide them back in. Cups do not have padding. I hve not laundered this. There is some stretch in fabric but i am sure not wht it used to be. The suit is very heavy and probably better suited to laying in a lounge chair or a photo shoot than swimming.
