This auction is for a Nursery ware bowl made in the early 1920’s I believe for the American market.

It shows mother Goose riding high

The verse reads

Old mother Goose when she wanted to wander

Would ride through the air on a very fine gander.

Checking the backstamp it has Patent applied for USA

The bow is in excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or utensil marks

It is 6.5/8thin diameter.

It has been in my collection for over 30 years and is looking for a new custodian.
