POSTER STAMPS FOOTBALL CALCIO SOCCER FUTBOL GOALKEEPER SPORTS LINDT SPRUNGLI

 

This is a very rare and superbe set of 12 large poster stamps (n. 2233 –n. 2244) edited in the mid 1930s by Swiss firm Chocolats Lindt & Sprüngli and concerns football rules and techniques.

The stamps were inserted inside the chocolate plates between the wrapper and the aluminium foil for children to collect them.

The collection is complete which add to the extreme difficulty of having all of them stay together after almost a century of age. The stamps are made of thin paper with dimension 2.4 x 3.1 inches.Traces of difficult readable text on the back of the stamps by Lindt Sprungli.
