RARE authentic minor league baseball team jacket. Not a wanna-be but the real deal for the High-A ASHEVILLE TOURISTS minor league baseball team of the South Atlantic League, affiliated with the Houston Astros currently but this authentic team jacket comes from the years when the team was affiliated with the Colorado Rockies (94-20).  Big boys like Sparky Anderson (manager ‘00), Craig Biggio, Eddie Murray, Willie Stargell, Dave Concepcion, Kenny Lofton and NFL Russell Wilson passed through the dugout, all wearing this same exact team jacket, if not this very jacket. Quality gear from Wilson.  Heavy navy blue flight satin/nylon shell and a warm gray quilt lining, in the style of Starter jackets. This was an AUTHENTIC PLAYER'S TEAM JACKET, most likely worn by a player who played in McCormick Field from 1994-2020, possibly one of the aforementioned big boys! "Tourists" quality-sewn across chest in red/white. This jacket is minty fresh with no holes, tears, seam issues, rips or weird smells. SNaps are real purdy! (See pic #4) You can't buy this in any store.  This authentic team jacket is a size X-LARGE. Warm and stylish in the true button-up team jacket tradition of baseball, not like the silly pull-overs and sissy lightweight 'souvenir' stuff MLB is promoting these days. The pictures tell it all! This is the one! Stored in plastic in a pet/smoke-free home in the beautiful dry climate of Eastern Washington. From pit to pit this incredible find measures 27", from shoulder seam to tip of cuff it measures 25" and from top of collar to the bottom snap this bad boy measures 31". (Measurements are not exact, but darn close) A RARE collectible. Quality throughout and a great piece of baseball history!
