This is a mixed lot of vintage lace and trim from my mother's estate. She had most of it for many years, some from her mother's estate. My mother made costumes, dresses, wedding and bridesmaid dresses, plus some home decor so there is a variety of styles.
The lot includes
- Over 100 yards of lace and trim; about 2lb 11oz.
- Varying widths from 1" to 3"
- Varying colors - about half of them are beige, with others red, black, pink, lavender, orange, and white.
- Varying lengths - several pieces 9+ yards, most have several yards.
- Varying density - some light weight and some crocheted or heavy trim.
I've tried to display the detail of the lace or trim.
Condition Notes:
- Yardage is approximate. I measured against a yardstick.
- Some of the lace / trim that contains elastic is losing its elasticity from age. I did not count that yardage estimate. There is an additional 25 yards of this elastic lace.
- Some of the trim is quite old and has a bit of a "vintage" smell to it.
