HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE

Bloomsbury First edition, seventeenth impression 1997

Paperback. A rare 17th impression of the first edition as stated on copyright page - see photo.

The following points indicate this as being a relatively early printing of The Philosopher's Stone:

- Copyright  credited to Joanne Rowling and not J. K. Rowling as on later editions along with no gap between Thomas Taylor and 1997

- Young wizard to rear cover.

- Smarties Gold Award label to front cover.
