This is a VERY interesting frame! On the back it has that it was made by Chicago Portrait Co. And cost $15.90. It was sold at Martens Rexall Drug Store in Woodville, Miss and the phone number was 46!!! I researched this and there have not been phone numbers with two digits since before 1930!! So $15.90 would have been extremely expensive in 1930. This frame is not perfect so please examine the photos carefully. Photo #6 shows a small piece of the raised inside edge is missing, there are two places like this. There are places where the gold is worn off and crazing in the paint. But it is still very cool! It does not have a glass. The entire frame is 21” long and 14” wide. The opening is 16-1/4” x 10-1/2” and rounded at the top. A glass and picture would have to be cut to fit.
