This lovely Gorham gold plated shell serving dish is approximately 12 inches, stamped L623, with original engraved stamp as well as original label, in good condition.

There are some minor scratches, nearly all on the rear of the dish, consistent with wear and use. I did take photos of those areas and they are included, but the reflective finish made them difficult to see.

My mother and father often held parties where this piece would hold small dainty cookies or pastries. When it wasn’t in use, it would be a centerpiece of my mother’s curio cabinet.

I am trying to downsize, and it is time for someone else to have a chance to enjoy mother’s pretty dish.

It has been and still is displayed in our smoke free home. 💕
