this is my classic Mini. it is a 1995 Mini Sprite. with a 1275 cc engine and automatic gearbox..
It has a full MOT (May 2025) with one advisory being a rear tyre (rubber cracking)
Mechanically it is fine, buy I think the carburettor could do with setting up or servicing.
There is no rust on it, (apart from a couple of small bubbles on thr A plate and the door, typical Mini) it is solid and it was completely undersealed in May 2023
Externally the paintwork does leave a bit to be desired. it stood at my Dad's house all winter when he fell ill and the lacquer is coming off the bonnet, and there are a couple of patches on thr body kit where the paint has cracked.
Inside it has Mazda MX5 seats (so the previous owner told me) but is very comfortable to drive.
On the dashboard nothing works apart from the fuel gauge and the speedometer which has never bothered me, to be honest.
I did ask the garage to have a look at the dash when it was MOT'd last year, he told that there is lot of wires behind the dash and it beyond him, and advised me to see an auto electrician.
I have bought a dashboard off ebay but with my dads illness, I have never got round to sorting it.
It has the full body kit and wide mini lite alloys which do restrict its turning circle but more than makes up for it in the way it handles the corners. I also have a spare set of mini lite wheels which are pretty rough and the best one being in the boot as the spare.
So grab a bargain and get a real British iconic classic car
