A stunning 1940s vintage gown by Pattulo - Jo Copeland. It was sold by Mary Sachs, an upscale department store headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The gown is made of midnight blue crepe, most likely silk, and it drapes beautifully. The bust is covered with dramatic "wings" made of lustrous peche pink satin, also most likely silk. They're an additional layer on top of the blue crepe. The skirt has a slit at the back with a panel that covers it. Side zipper. 

Excellent condition, no holes or damage, the only issue is a very minor, pale yellow discoloration on one of the "wings". I haven't tried to clean or remove it, and it's only noticeable if you're looking for it. It's circled in the photos. The color is vibrant with no fading. 

No size tag, but it measures like a modern size 8 or 10. To ensure a perfect fit, it's best to measure yourself or a garment you already own and compare to the measurements below:
