Almost all seeds are mature and collected in autumn here in the Northern Hemisphere, with the exception of Elm, Virginia Bluebell and Columbine which are collected in summer and can be planted immediately. All other seeds here stored in refrigerator from collection in the previous year for stratification purposes. You may ask for the current year's seeds beginning in early autumn to be sent instead of last year's seeds, but they are not yet stratified and you will be responsible for that. Current year's seeds are suitable for planting in-situ. If you do not specify one way or the other, you will get stratified seeds from the prior year.
For sales outside USA, Canada or Brazil you MUST check to see if seeds are a permitted imported to YOUR COUNTRY. China, Russia & North Korea do not allow importation of seeds.
