Here is one of the rarest watches in my collection - the only one of its kind I've been able to find online last time I looked.

A true 1970s piece with a unique case, wedged design to be more easily viewable on the wrist.

The colour on the dial is fantastic and still bright, and the patina on the lume is incredible. Absolutely an original and unmolested piece as all the lines are sharp and original case finish on the caseback is clearly unpolished.

The movement is an electronic ESA quartz oscillator with a hair spring, running at 28,800 vph and can be placed on a timegraph, unlike almost all other quartz watches today. This movement was revolutionary at the time, however it was the time when quartz were taking over the industry and this movement was disconnected in preference to standard quartz due to cost.

I also have a complete and running spare movement for this watch which I purchased just in case it ever needed a repair. I never intended to sell this and wanted to ensure I had parts available to provide a watchmaker in case it ever needed, however it has not had any issues at all.

This is a big watch, however as the bracelet integrates the case underneath, it does sit exceptionally well on the wrist and like a much smaller piece.

This piece shows signs is use throughout, as to be expected with a 50 year old watch. However there is no major damage or indication that this piece has been abused, dropped or poorly looked after.

The internal compressor stile rotating bezel works smoothly by rotating the signed crown at 12. Again, the dial shows excellent colours and no signs of water damage which makes this a phenomenally rare piece in extraordinary condition for its age.
