A antique Victorian Tole painted steel Barristers Wig Box and Riser, which has a handle either side of the domed wig platform and includes two short spikes to hold the wig in place. The hinge mounted cover has a catch at its front, but is missing its swing carry handle. It is large size, measuring approx 11" or 28 cm high x 8 5/8" or 22 cm wide x 9 1/4" or 23.5 cm deep.
The Riser is in good condition and the box is in a used condition, with dints and losses to its tole painted finish. Please see photos.
