Hi, welcome to my auction for my Minolta 50mm f1.7 AF prime standard lens complete with genuine Minolta front and rear caps. I have 2 of these so this is a spare, surplus to my requirements, I have downsized my home and need to rationalize my equipment as I just don't have the space anymore.

Finally after moving twice, emptying 4 storage units and getting my darkroom  up and going again in a brand new workshop I am able to start sorting through the loads of photo gear I have accumulated over the past 45 years. Keep your eyes open and check out my other items, there's going to be some good stuff coming!

Cosmetically the lens is in very good condition ( please see the photos as they form part of the description) there are no cracks, dents or scuffs and it shows nearly no signs of wear, apart from a bit of whitening to the black finish, all markings are fully legible and clear.

Optically I can't see any haze, fungus or scratches but it may have a negligible amount internal dust but I'm struggling to find anything significant.

Mechanically the focus is smooth in Auto Focus and manual modes with no flat or drag spots. The aperture is fully operational as it should be, I can't see any residue and the mount is unblemished. Fully tested on a Minolta Dynax 9.
