Alain Silberstein Krono Bauhaus
This listing is for an Alain Silberstein Krono Bauhaus wristwatch.
I don't know the year of manufacture but I estimate it was sometime in the late 90s. The watch had a full (and expensive) service in April 2024 which was performed by Horological Underground in Bristol, UK. The service work comes with a one year warranty and the service paperwork will be included with the watch.
The watch contains a Swiss made Lemania 5100 automatic chronograph movement which features some fun Alain Silberstein customisations including a small yellow plastic snake on the baseplate. The movement functions are
- Central hour/minute time telling hands
- Central chronograph seconds
- Central chronograph minutes
- 12 hour chronograph counter (6 o'clock subdial)
- Running seconds (9 o'clock subdail)
- AM/PM indicator (12 o'clock subdial)
- Day and Date windows at 3 o'clock
The watch is in fantastic condition considering it's age. Little to no sign of cosmetic wear.
The watch has been fitted with a brand-new genuine alligator leather strap. This was custom made by Handdn Bespoke Watchstraps to match the specification of the original straps supplied by Alain Silberstein which are unfortunately no longer available. The strap has been fitted with the original Alain Silberstein buckle. The strap alone cost over £160.
The watch comes with the original manual, Cetehor Quality Certificate (with matching serial number) and service paperwork. Also included will be the original Alain Silberstein strap (very worn) and the buckle originally supplied on the replacement Handdn strap.
