This is a great machine for retro gaming for so many reasons. It's small and quiet, and would not look out of place with your console under your TV. With DisplayPort graphics, easily adapted to HDMI this is a very real possibility.

The machine has support for a PCI Express graphics card (low profile) but the integrated Intel graphics are very capable for retro gaming, with a very reasonable score of nearly 7500 - and it does all this while keeping quiet.

The CPU is an E7400 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo, which I've applied fresh thermal paste to for cool operation, and a new CMOS battery has been installed.

The 250GB hard drive had a clean bill of health with no bad sectors. I have done a clean install of Windows XP with the latest drivers and it runs very nicely. I have preinstalled C&C Red Alert 2, Quake 2, Quake 3, Age of Empires. If you have a specific game you need to make sure it runs, I'm happy to pre-install and test for you so you are 100% happy.

The optical drive is also working fine, so you can install new games.

Physically the machine is in excellent overall condition - bar some tarnishing to the metal on one side where it was used flat. This case can be used either in tower or desktop configuration and the Dell logo simply spins to the correct orientation.
