VINTAGE PHILIPS 03100 CUBE RARE RETRO RED CLOCK RADIO ALARM 80s AM/FM

This radio belonged to my dad. There was a bit of bluetack on the end of the arial where he had fixed it up the wall.

Clock.

Set clock by holding down time and then press the fast button followed by the slow for accuracy.

Radio.

Turn the side wheel to tune. When you do so you pick up various, if mostly indistinct stations.

I guess someone isn’t buying this to listen to -as is -, in the age of digital radio as I can’t really recommend it as a fully « working » radio.

The arial lead measures 31 inches. Close to the arial input there is an short outer coating on the wire. This has the word Stratite with a trademark symbol. I had assumed that this was part of the original radio, but a buyer has asked me if it is a repair. The answer is I don’t know. If any radio experts out there know the answer, please message me as Mr Google drew a blank!

A lovely retro item for a collector or to use as a prop in film, theatre or tv
