BELARUS 1992 - FIRST MINATURE SHEET IN ITS HISTORY. MINT, UNHINGED.

The Cross of Saint Euphrosyne was a revered relic of the Russian Orthodox Church and Belarus, which was made in 1161 by Lazar Bogsha for the order of Saint Euphrosyne of Polatsk and lost in June 1941 during the German occupation. It remains one of the major emblems of Belarus.

This was the first ever minature sheet from the newly independent Belarus, issued one year on from independence.
