This is a beautifully reverse engineered, made in Japan in the mid 1970's Ibanez Concord 12 String 698 12S.
This guitar is very clean with no discernable dents or dings. Well taken care of.
The unique inlay and pickguard are amazing. No structural issues. It features the Gibson type floating bridge offering the typical 12 string strumming action. A previous owner swapped out several of the tuners and bushings. I have no idea why! But honestly hardly noticeable as they function just fine.Pls check out the photo of the headstock.
Of particular note, which makes this guitar appealing is the Gibson-like adjustable bridge allowing you to set the action/string height to your preferece! Chording for one height and picking for another.
The other nice feature is the zero fret; which allows the player to seamlessly use different string guages. With this design strings are allowed to rest on top of the zero fret regardless of thickness, and have the same distance travel down to the first fret for consistant intonation.
It's a jumbo in every sense of the word offering full, bright and loud tone with good bass response. Sorry, no case but we pack and ship very well. I wish I could ship cheaper; it's a very big guitar!
