These medallions are coming out of the Chicago area. They were my grandfathers and he was a very big garage sailor and always went to Maxwell Street in Chicago. He would get up very early in the morning to hunt for stuff like this.

The Illinois seal Piece says 14 karat gold plated on the back but it has a color of copper. Take a look at the pictures. It looks exactly like the Chicago seal piece.

Personally, I think these are beautiful pieces but you decide. The Illinois one is something that is really pretty remarkable and even the Chicago one looks way cool.

Exactly as pictured. In used condition, antiques… Pretty nice condition for sure.
