1970’s Vintage Folk Art (PICTURES DON’T DO IT JUSTICE!)

Handmade Wood & Repurposed Metal 13” Tall x 5” x 5” Artist Creepy Totem Head

It has a railroad spike as a nose, Old pop bottle caps for eyes, cut sheet metal scraps for eyelashes and eyebrows. It’s cheeks are thick, cut tree branch slices and features hand carved and hand painted mouth, teeth and hair.

It was created by an old local Oklahoma City Artist in the early 1970’s. I used to have several of his pieces and this is the last one that I have. I hate to have to say goodbye to him, but I no longer have a place where he can be seen and admired as he was created to be.
